Carving axe

Introducing The Solo Blacksmith Axe, and essential tool for green woodworkers. With an approximate 575g axe head and 85mm cutting edge with a 30 degree flat grind, this axe is designed for splitting (with the aid of a mallet) and roughing out your work. The axe head is forged from 4140 steel to ensure long-lasting performance.

The forged Axe has a 350mm long handle made from White Ash, which is a resilient timber well suited for axe handles.
