Hammer making class

About this experience

Make the tool that makes it all! Forge, grind and handle your own blacksmithing hammer. Hammers can be made in different styles; Flat faced, cross pien or rounding. Much of the forging in this class will be done under a hydrualic press and power hammer to make it accessable to a wider range of physical abilities. Choose your prefered weight at checkout so it can be prepared before your class.

One day hammer making class is hosted at the Auckland workshop. Classes start at 8.30 am and usually run until 4 pm. Once booked further information will be sent a week prior to the class.

This class is restricted to people over 16 years old. 

Hammer classes can be arranged by email and spare spaces will be made available here to book. Maximum class size is 2 people.
